Doctor Thomas Bolté is medical director of New York Urgent Care and Bolte Medical Urgent Care Center nyc.  His Internal Medicine internship and residency were performed at New York Downtown Hospital in downtown Manhattan, New York City, where he also received post-graduate training as Chief Administrative Resident.  Doctor Bolte practices comprehensive integrated medicine to diagnose rare and unusual disease.  While working in various urgent care centers, emergency rooms, multi-specialty medical clinics and an HMO, his traditional medical training extended into alternative medicine, working with Doctor Robert Atkins, Doctor Serafina Corsello and Doctor Leo Galland.  He continues to expand his knowledge in alternative, nutritional and environmental medicine.  Many physicians refer difficult-to-diagnosis, difficult-to-treat chronically ill patients to Doctor Bolte when the case becomes a medical mystery.

Doctor Bolte's areas of expertise include intestinal disorders, parasitic infections, Celiac Disease, malabsorption, maldigestion, mercury toxicity and other heavy metal disorders, chronic yeast infections, dietary guidance, detoxification and treatment of environmental and food allergies.

Doctor Bolte has worked as an Emergency Room ER attending and urgent care physician since 1992 throughout New York State.  He has advised nutriceutical companies as a scientic advisory board member on optimal nutritional supplement formulations.  Doctor Bolte has worked with Doctor Leo Galland (founder of the Foundation for Integrated Medicine) from 1995 to 2007 and Doctor Robert Atkins at the Atkins Center for Complementary Medicine from 1996 to 1998.
